TT scale buildings

We found some websites with cardstock buildings for cheap or free for HO scale a few months ago, and made the appropriate 73% factoring to make the buildings go from HO to TT.

Here is a link to that thread: paper-buildings-t1436.html

I am not sure that 0.5% on a building for a layout is going to make much of a difference overall, and to be honest, some of the paper building websites do recommend a 73% conversion to convert HO to TT.

It doesnt matter what they recommend. Math is math :) does 0.5% matter on a building? Maybe ;)

Only if you are a rivet counter, plus some printer drivers do not allow decimal points for scaling as well. We have had a few that were like that.

I may well avail myself of some of this site's drawings to use as plans.

As for rivet counting... why *wouldn't* one count rivets? Why make more than you need to?? ;)

I am a scratchbuilder trying to make as much as possible individual models ( locomotives, cars and buildings). Recently I started to build the buildings for the TT layout of our son. I prefer to work with wood, and to get the exact scale lumber is not always an easy task ( especially when it is not a balsa). For those lumber elemets I build a special tool to make from the standard lumber an exact scale lumber.
