@ConducTTor: that are the Tillig news announcements for 2015 and not the catalog

The Auhagen 2015 News show a new factory building for TT at page 6.

I'm pleased that a UIC-Z couchette coach will be available in TT! The 2016 preview of a 742 seems like a sensible choice to me as well.

And maybe the 3 axle cars for 2016 will turn in Umbau wagons later (I don't know if it's the same wheelbase)?

Not that I'm holding my breath for its release, but Kühn have announced a wagon I particularly want, to the extent that I'd started drawing them up for laser cutting...

I can't find a couchette coach of UIC-type Z in Tillig's news catalogue.
There are only X-type couchette coaches. Their prototypes were made more than a decade before UIC defined their type Z.

"Umbau wagons"? Do you mean Reko cars? Or may be their West German counterparts?
I'm not sure about length and wheelbase. But at the prototype, there were other types of cars used for these conversions.

UIC Z is fat fingers from me, z is next to x on my keyboard! I did mean UIC X, I should proof read my posts. Specifically, this model attracts me, as I'm working on building up coaches for CNL 457: http://www.tillig.com/Produkte/produktinfo-16582.html

Interesting that they've stated DB AutoZug, but illustrate it with a NachtZug example. Not that there's any difference between the coaches other than branding.

"Umbau wagons" - West German counterparts

Managed to get a 3 car set of the Kruger models some time back. Still have to do interiors for them.

Doesn't really seem to be a lot of NEW items announced so far - just a lot of repaints. Still waiting for the Kuehn V-60, Beckmann BR-41, etc, etc, and now where staking out " the territory " for 2016.

Think I'll go back to concentrating on my American modelling!
