This bodes very well. Hornby International have a lot of models in H0 and N that would be very useful in TT, and complement existing products well- eg Halberstadt driving cars with Wittenberge cabs. And as for the 251/171... WINNER! There's been nothing to show since ACME's announcement, while Hornby got on and have models to show.

They are interested, no doubt ... they turned up at the 3mm Society AGM this year.

Russian "PK-6" ("ПК6") steam crane is available.
This version is resin cast.

Is that from Peresvet? If it is, it's interesting that they're adopting "proper" couplers.

No, they are not from Peresvet. They are made by Alexander Mihailov.
Previois version was made from cardstock:

As for couplers... it is a problem. From one side, we (Russians) need a couplers that look like SA-3. Kadee or MicroTrain would be great.
From other side, we need to use German locomotives and cars, so we are to use BTTB or Tillig or Kuehn couplers, and we can't use Kadee without some additional work...

The problem is, as far as I know they don't use NEM coupler mounts.

The Dapol couplers do indeed use NEM shafts - I got a pair to use with my North Korean M62, and they just slid right into the socket.

The problem is, however, they end up being lower than MT or Kadee couplers... I suppose that's not a problem, though, if you're just swapping couplers out of NEM pockets...
