Tillig's models 2013
http://www.modellvasut-center.hu/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/TTNH_2013web.pdf
it takes some time to download

I don't understand their motivation for re-release of NOHAB MY DSB 1124 in red-black as a limited edition (again). Couldn't they change the number on it at least? Maybe it will have a newer motor, but otherwise it looks exactly as their 3-4 years old limited edition. All the old errors are repeated on it again, incl. the missing front doors. Perhaps, they had some extra shells painted and they want to sell them now...

Then the start set section: CDC and PKP sets have engines with no prototypes. Is that a tradition from Zeuke's times?
They could just paint the same engine in ATSF, SP or NYC schemes too.
Next time they can make steam engines in DB's traffic red scheme.

A 140? C'mon Tillig, there are so many gaps and older models well due a retool and you choose to duplicate Kühn.

Could've instead beaten Kuehn to the punch with the 111!

That said I'll be going for one of those coach sets in the Pop scheme.

A few cool things like the Rheingold set but mostly "eh". At least it will be easy on the wallet. Don't worry, at the speed Kuhn is going with getting models to market, sooner or later Tillig WILL do the 111 first.

Personally I'm rather excited. There are quite a few Czech items I've been waiting on!

I'd honestly not be surprised. And Kuehn seems especially slow on Bundesbahn stuff. Still waiting on that 260!

But, unfortunately, seems as light on era IV Bundesbahn stuff as ever. The DR Interfrigo reefer, a few of the DB freight cars (including the reefer set), the MAV Eaos and the CSD reefer are of interest... and the Pop set as mentioned... yeah, not much.

Actually all the Era VI stuff is very good. It needs to be there to attract the younger generation to the scale. Too many freelance models though.

It's not the era VI stuff I really have an issue with... it's all the bloody era III and IV Reichsbahn stuff! :P

It's kinda the same vicious circle as with NA stuff. They don't make it, because there's little market, but there's little market because they don't make it...

(though yeah, it's still a lot easier to model DB IV than North America...)

That's their bread and butter. I'm sure they would LOVE more interest in DB models - the market in the former West is MUCH bigger. The problem is everyone in the west is addicted to Marklin HO. Over there, if you're not using Marklin you're like some kind of a social pariah.
