"New"??? Sigis part number 40-80801 is the existing Gold Coast Bettendorf truck...
(a thing of beauty BTW... tooled by the late Joel Buerling - a master)

Was there a different part number I missed?

The new 4-wheel passenger truck is listed on the webpage as part #40-80810. Does the freight truck #40-80801 come with the same wheelsets as the Gold Coast trucks, or do they have a finer flange? It's hard to tell from the photos.

I would say, they are completely Gold Coast made.

That's pretty cool. But why would Peresvet make a German (DR) and not Russian plow?

I suppose Peresvet is interested in German market.
As for Russian snowplow, it was made by Norkin-Model not so long ago.

Yeah I know Norkin's - but it's not RTR is it? I thought it would make sense for Peresvet to make a Russian model that's RTR.

It's absolutely RTR. I bought this model (Norkin's one) as it is shown on the photo.

(I added only rails, background and steam locomotive  )

In fact, this Peresvet's snowplow is based on the Russian tender, not German.
It is tender for future Э serie steam locomotive, I suppose.
