T55 tanks (former East-German Army and former Czechoslovak Army)

...and also modern RUSSIAN army! :)

Roco's new coupling, which apparently will now be delivered with all of their new models.

I wonder to know, if they are compatible with any existing couplers?

That's interesting question. It most certainly won't be compatible with the old BTTB style coupler, but what about the new Tillig coupler? It seems quite different in the pictures. But to be honest, I'm still using old couplers as some of my scratchbuilt rolling stock cannot be equipped with Peho KKK...

I'm really looking forward to the Moszkvics and the big Volga as they do have a bit of American flavour to the styling, so I can probably get away with them in US scenes... the Zhiguli would be great too, as that WOULD be useful, since it's just a copy of a Fiat that was sold in North America, too.

As for Volga - I am sure that old Volga GAZ-21 have more American flavour... ;)
It looks like 1952-1954 Ford.

And also Mini-Things produce very good US cars in TT...

Good point about the GAZ-21!

How is Gabor's product compared to Herpa?

Herpa's cars set the standard, IMO, for road vehicles in TT, I find them very nice, very sharp, much better than anything else available in TT - which is part of why I'll settle with using Russian cars on a 1969 USA setting (the other part being than the Soviet cars of the 1950s/1960s look much more American than European!)

The Roco coupler deal doesn't make sense. They will not work with other couplers. I guess they're probably doing that so they don't have to pay Tillig for couplers. But the Tillig is the TT standard whether anyone likes it or not. Roco needs to include the standard.

Well at first I thought maybe good idea, maybe Rocos couplers will be better, smaller appearance etc, but now I see them on the Goggles preview pictures, and no, they look way to big, I'll have to covert them all back, too bad.
