too many differences to turn the PS2 into a coal hopper but a 70 or 100 ton open hopper is something i'd buy for sure....dave

That's up to you to decide. I was asked to make it available in FUD so it is. The WSF version is still available so you have a choice.

I think the range by CNW for this 3-bay is from 435000-435099, or a part of this. The posted range is from the 2-bay covered hopper. Okay it is only a similar design and they were built after 1980. But I can't find pictures from a earlier car.

Anyone order one of these recently? I'm wondering if the latest hoppers are smoother than the older printed versions? Seems like Shapeways might get better resolution over the years? ....DaveB
