Well folks, my apologies. I didn't intend to start a bone of contention with the above remark, but rather to give a nudge to the widespread success of ConducTTor's projects and the peripheral benefit to others. Guess I'll have to start using those emoticons... Anyway, what I meant to say was congratulations, this is a big deal. Good work, Boss!

Yeah, but still. It's the principle. Even with all the extra work they did to make them RTR, they are still pulling a profit. I know that some of the main stream model producers pay independent tool makers good money for the rights to their designs/molds. A mention by name is the least they could have done...

how about a mention of the author, and a finished sample of each of his creations, in the paint scheme of his choice.

That would be a nice gesture and good advertisement for the product.

From what I can see of their website, it appears they did attempt to mention the author, as they did with our
Gold Coast models, however they put the wrong name down, they mention Shapeways, when it should be TTNut.
Perhaps just a mistake on their part with incorrect credit. Shapeways is just a service center, not the author/creator of anything.

Naming the source of the model is probably less for giving credit to the source and more for enhancing the value of the model.

@ jmass

Oh believe me, I'm actually quite flattered by seeing those cars. I just want credit to be given where it belongs. I haven't had a chance to email to those guys yet - probably late tonight or tomorrow.

Just to put a period on this topic, I've talked to Sylvie and Mike from LokNRoll and all is good. Thanks all for the support! Nothing more to see here :)
