Trip to Hobby Shop

Trip to Hobby Shop

Postby Bernd » Fri Dec 30, 2016 5:12 pm

A trip to Dan's Crafts yelled a surprise. I was after some decal setting solvent, which they didn't have. Why would they? Everybody buys RTR. Anyway, looked at the styrene display and found this to my surprise.

I thought my eyes were failing me for a minute there. Yup, Plastic Struct TT scale brick. Now I can build a brick engine house, a small one of course.

That is very nice to know. Now I can make a TT scale model of my house, as it is brick clad.

I wonder if they really know what TT scale is? Seems like they'd have just labeled it scale 1/120 ? .....DaveB

"it's close"

Yeah, weird that they'd call it 125 instead of 120? Now some newbies are going to be going around telling people that TT scale is 1:125 because they saw it on a Plastruct package :>) ......DaveB

Sad thing is, according to the Plastruct website, that is the only "TT" product that they have.
