I was a bit pushed for time to be heading out for the evening unfortunately. I lost Mirko in the crowd almost as soon as meeting him, it was well attended!

Intermodellbau was interesting, though this year none of the layouts really blew me away. There was some very good stuff, in the past there have been exceptional models though. What was interesting was a good representation of TT modelling from the former West Germany in having three or four large modular layouts suggesting a solid grassroots interest in the scale, but the trade seemingly hasn't caught up. I spent a grand total of €20 on models for myself (TT only) at the show. Once I was in Saxony, a couple of hundred escaped my wallet in the regular model shops.

Now I have six months to save before Modell-Hobby-Spiel, which does have a good TT selection.

I wasn't at the Intermodellbau but my favorite is the modular layout from "TT-Modulfreunde NRW" (TT-Modular Friends Nordrhein-Westfalen). - we send worldwide
