Tri-Ang Class 08 Shunter

The Tri-Ang Class 08 Shunter was one of the two types of locos that were released when Tri-Ang TT was first produced.
The real Class 08 was a rather reliable locomotive, albeit slow, most were not capable of speeds over 25mph.

The chassis components between the Jinty (steam locomotive) and the Class 08 Shunter are largely interchangable.

Here is a second variant of the Class 08 model. The big difference is the lack of spokes on the center blind wheelset. The connecting rods are affixed to the center wheelset by screws instead of the typical rivets.

Here is another variant of the Tri-Ang Class 08 shunter:

The later and somewhat rarer newer version of the Class 08 Shunter carried the number D3115 and had yellow paint applied to the front, back and sides of the loco.
