looks like they are going to improve on the China to Europe railroad line. Three countries getting together for a common cause. Wonder if Trump will allocate some money for US rail lines. I'd like to get my lettuce from Kallyfornia before it wilts.

Gee, thanks, Bernd . . . I just spent way too much time looking at everything at that link. ;-)

Fascinating stuff, really. After watching the China video (link below, highly interesting), it is sparkling clear that HSR is a key benefit to the human race: safety, commerce, environment (protecting the planet), tying nations together socially as well as financially and politically. Just wow.

Hey Brian, You're welcome. I didn't check out the whole website. I just read the link I posted.

It's be great if the new administration built an electric powered railway like shown in your U-tube link.

"Train from China to the UK"

I wonder if the UK Brexit voters will try to ban this train too? Perhaps Europe should just leave the UK to simmer in it's own weak sauce?.....DaveB

Why would they do that? China owes half of the UK and if you noticed the locomotive, it is German owned as is most of the UK railfreight operation and rail system
Soy sauce anyone

Kind Regards

Lack of understanding of change cause and effect? You can give people access to education but you can't force them to use it.....DaveB

Is this the longest train route ever? I assume it has to be.
