TT Today 50' Boxcar

I happened across this is an article I wrote for the attempt to rekindle the TT Scale Special Interest Group and thought that perhaps it should not go to waste. Enjoy.

Thanks for the article. I am not sure that I will duplicate what you did in your article, but the techniques are definitely worth reading up on!

Yes, very nice article. Some interesting methods there.

Was wondering if you were still around. Nice to hear from you again Mark.

An excellent article, especially regarding the scratchbuilt door.

Where can I get all the Gold Coast parts?

That's the big question. The Gold Coast injection molds are missing and Lok-n-Roll, the successor (buyer) of this company, hasn't single parts of the AAR-steel boxcar. I can offer a roof like Gold Coast with a length of 50ft at shapeways. Or a diagonal panel roof.

40 foot and 50 foot rooftops would be nice on Shapeways.
