Has anybody used Tilligs Straßenbahngleis Tram Track System HOm for TT scale embedded tracks say for instance like in an intermodal yard or in front of a lokschuppen.
Thanks

It looks like a reincarnation of the former Zeuke track system. The system itself is perfect (geometry, space requirement) just the used material was a problem (nickel plated steel). I have no information what material is used now for this track system.

Hi, in the online StraBenbahngleis Katalog there is no mention of the material and finished used for the rails. This is the same as listed in one of the chapters in my Tillig Gleis- Katalog 09588.

I know, I was also looking for that information. The design is very similar ( if not the same) as the almost 60 years Zeuke design and technology. The rails have U profile from sheet metal, the geometry is identical to the old Zeuke tracks (25 degrees switches). It would be fine to know what material they use today. The nickel-silver would be OK, but I would not recommend the old nickel plated steel.

Yea one of the photos does show the edge of the rail and it's definitely a U shape.
I will ask that material question to their Customer Service Department.
