So far, there have been a few things that I have to note about the set:

1.) The power pickup leads from the set did not fit the lugs on the terminal track, I ended up soldering wires to the terminal lugs instead.

2.) The locomotive is powerful for it's size, but even with the two weights in the body, the loco cannot haul very much without slipping. It hauls the cars included with the set with ease, but when I coupled three BTTB four axle passenger cars behind it, the loco slipped a good bit.

3.) The track roadbed on the straight sections and the curved sections are a different shade of grey.

Congratulation for your new set.

What do you expect from such a small locomotive? In the reality they were also lucky to pull 2 four axle coaches ( and not 4) on an even line.

Not a whole lot, although I have the Zeuke version of the same locomotive, and it hauls four four axle passenger cars without slipping, and weighs about the same as the Tillig one, so I was sorta expecting the same or roughly the same performance.

Oh, yeah, the car and truck are a nice touch to the set as well. As far as I am concerned, they look close enough to vehicles used in North America (imports, maybe) to use on my North American layout.

Here is the same locomotive pulling the aforementioned trio of BTTB passenger cars:
