Rob, thanks much. Last March, eh? Good thing these days I look daily at TT_Nut posts, maybe I won't miss interesting items like these F-unit drawings you posted last spring.

Hi folks
Any body in USA or Canada got any Czech models made By MTB they do mostly Czech and Slovak trains i have noticed on their site they are now making American railroad I think two engines and some stock
however i have recently bought a 742 TT loco with Zimo sound loco very good sound not sure, does not sound much like prototype to me.
I have just spent 2 weeks standing next to them in Znojmo.
Any body have any experience of above over there i also wondered if any body does have MTB loco's did you get English language sheets with them
thanks for any help offered Dirk

MTB are good models. I have the American and Czech locomotives and am happy with all of them. I never opened the instruction manuals so I have no idea what language they are in.

Sound is very subjective. I'm not a big fan of it in general due to the size restrictions - it's not possible to get proper low frequencies (which is the bulk of a diesel engine's sound).
