Looks like you had fun! I'll see if I will be able to arrange a family trip to BC to concide with the November show.

Yes, I have a photo of a guy poring over the Gold Coast catalog. Without his permission I won't post it, but there was an interest. On the one hand it's sad that so much is being made of just setting up a table with some TT models. On the other hand, I know it made an impression and got some people interested. It helped a lot that CSD and TTQuebec and Gold Coast had really excellent models on display. Most importantly, it was fun.

This was a lot of fun. I had several very long conversations about TT with many of the events participants and guests and feel that if a running model is included in the next show that we may have several converts. The best part was being able to put faces to names to aliases and nerd out big time on TT.

It was good to see TT at a show. Although I was otherwise occupied (at the Central Hobbies tables) I did manage to sneak by a few times. It was good to see Felix again and pick up a few items he brought for me.

If you/we want to do something "TT" at the November show, Trains 2010 (web www.bctrains.org), Saturday November 13 and Sunday November 14, send an email to 'trains2010@telus.net' .

I will deal with it in April/May when I (I am the Chair and Exhibitor Registrar for Trains 2010) start working on the show paperwork.

I would be very happy to have a TT presence at Trains 2010. Although I will be otherwise fully occupied with show organization and manning the Central Hobbies tables, I will be able to drop by from time to time.

A small display layout would be nice; either a basic 3' x 4' loop or a couple of modules. There is also enough time to produce a basic informational handout.

Someone needs to be the front person to coordinate this. Volunteers?

Regards

*raises hand* I'll volunteer. Not for loop or module building, but info thingies and coordinations sure (nonsequitur is an RPM section being planned for this year?). I've already mentioned the idea to a few acquaintances (TTers) who are interested in coming up, so... but for now I need to go to work.

Check with Al Reibel, he has a copy of a great little folder that Jim O'Brien did, not all that long ago. Chris
