Tankcontainers

Tankcontainers

Postby dileTTante » Sat Apr 06, 2019 5:00 pm

I'm looking for intermodal tankcontainers in TT scale.
Searching produced lots in HO and even Lego, but very little in TT.
First photo shows two in TT from a seller in Hamburg in an auction which ended in March. No manufacturer name given.
Second shows three frames in TT, but no tanks. No manufacturer named.
Third shows completed etched TT kits from Schwaetzer. Seller won't send to Canada.
Fourth shows shapeways 3D in N scale. Adequate quality, and maybe the maker can be persuaded to do TT.
I have downloaded a free file for 3D printing but it seems very incomplete, so no luck there.
Any ideas, please?

There were a few that came with Tillig container cars at some point. Haven't seen any available separately.

I got this with my other 20 & 40 foot containers (Tillig & PSK Modelbouw) as my purchases of the 3 or 4 Doppeltrawagen "Kombiwaggon" Tillig 18001 are of the unloaded variety. Of course they are all still in boxes.
internet searches are coming up nothing in tt

Thanks, guys.
The Tillig shown gives me the part number, and searching for other Tillig prduced photos and part numbers, all of which I'll use for more searching.
And I was mistaken, the shapeways offering is in TT, but it's too expensive.

They sell them separately! Awesome.
Please post other product numbers if you find any.

There is a Czech manufacturer, named LOCO. I haven't found a homepage, only a Czech online store which listed some containers.

From the image in Rich1853's post it looked like the Tillig tancontainers were from LOCO but my searching didn't find the company. Thanks very much for the links.
