This is actually available (I should say it WAS - you can find it on ebay once in a while) from Tillig and it is extremely rare. Model #02370. And just like the proto, it only has one pantograph.

SBB Cargo is very active outside Switzerland, too.
I'm not sure, but I think, these locomotives are used in Germany, only.

How suitable are the Wesa models for working with a TT-scale train? As I understand it, they'd be rather oversized...

Wrong direction!
AAE (Ahaus-Alstätter Eisenbahn) is a very small German railroad (I think, they don't have any locomotive anymore) which earns by far most of it's money by leasing out freight cars. (I'm not sure if they still offer traffic at all)
They have more freight cars than would fit onto their own tracks.
Even some European former national railroads belong to their customers, for instance VR, NMBS/SNCB or SBB-CFF-FFS...

So the car is not owned by SBB and leased to AAE, but quite the contrary!

I think ROCO should change the logos!
