Nice! However, I'm concerned about the material - warping and shrinking. Does anyone have any of the models?

The gondola is nice, but if I am not mistaken, it is modern car again... :(

AutoMax is a modern (1990s and newer) automobile transporter - a two-part car (articulated kinda like a 2M62 :P ).

Both of those are very modern, yes.

this is really starting to get me down. both models are very nice, although the automax is gonna need a part b, and also something modern to pull it. what we really need 50 FOOT MODERN BOXCARS !

50'? Those are /short/ for modern boxcars... to look really right with the Automax and this Trinity gon you'd need a bunch of 60' Hi-Cube boxcars, maybe with a late-build (outside-post) 50' PS-1 thrown in here and there...

AAAAA!!! NO!!!! Why MODERN boxcars again ?! :)
As for me, I need boxcars and gondolas suitable for the 1950s...

then you should be well served by the variety of forty foot boxcars that gold coast puts out. very nice i might add. but they dont serve my purpose and with possum valley closing up, leaves not much for someone like me who has no interest in pre 1970s prototype. bummer.

They are indeed very nice, but they are only one type. There are still several EXCEEDINGLY important types that are needed.

And they should be of some use to you - they were still running around into the 1980s in scattered commercial service, and are still around in maintenance-of-way use.

If Art & Detail get their 50' PS-1 out, that will be a great thing, as they'll be suitable for any time between the 1950s and the 1990s... even just within the past few years I've spotted a couple.
