Slovenia - Slovenske Železnice

661 (Chosen Scale G12 - kitbashed to G16)

541 (Piko Taurus - kitbashed)

312 (Tillig Desiro converted to electric)
812 (Rokal VT95)

Passenger & freight cars
Various existing freight car models can be used to represent SZ cars; for passenger cars, TT-Modell's Eurofima cars can be used. Tillig's Y wagons can be used either as-is as stand-ins, or can be kitbashed to match the roofline of the Gosa-built Y wagons.

I believe the new Tillig / LS Models sleepers that are coming out may have a SZ painted version. Also, interesting in the Taurus picture is the 4 pantographs. I didn't know they come in multi-voltage versions.

Ooh! Good news about the new sleepers; I'm always happy to see models of ex-Yugo railways in any scale.

Re the Taurus, I think the SZ version was the first multi-system Taurus produced; MAV's Tauruses are also multi-voltage (16kv 15.66 Hz + 25kV 50Hz).

This is not a Y-type car.
A- and B-types were standardized by ОСЖД (OSJD). And X-, Y- and Z-types were standardized by UIC.
The OSJD-B-type and the UIC-Y-type were 24.5 meters long and had 9 (1st class and combined 1st and 2nd class) and 10 (2nd class) compartments, respectively.
This car has only 8 compartments. It's too short for a Y-type. Additionally, it appears to be relatively low. It rather seems to be a chassis of a pre-war car with a new carbody.

The Yugoslavian Y-type diners, which I know, had a different arrangement of windows. Additionally, this car appears relatively short to me. May be I'm wrong, but I would guess, it's also a pre-war car with a new carbody.

"Taurus" is a registered trademark of ÖBB. So only the ÖBB-owned locomotives (series 1016, 1116 [Siemens ES64 U2] and 1216 [Siemens ES64 U4]) are real "Tauruses".
The manufacturer's designation is "EuroSprinter".

The better question should be: Are there single-voltage versions of the EuroSprinter family?
The only single-voltage EuroSprinters are the prototype (1 unit; BR 127; Siemens-type ES1), ES64 F (170 units for DB [BR 152] and 2 units for rent [meanwhile sold to ITL]) and series 1016 of ÖBB (50 units).
All other EuroSprinter locomotives are dual- or multi-voltage locomotives.

Sorry, the current systems are 15 kV 16.7 Hz and 25 kV 50 Hz AC.
Austrian 1216 and Slovenian 541 and so on (Siemens ES64 U4) can also be operated with 1.5 kV and 3 kV DC, respectively.

It'll be easy to remember, if one knows the background.

The standard frequency of the public electricity supply networks in Europe is 50 Hz.
It'll be favorable for the power supply, if the frequency is multiple or fraction of that frequency.
So Norway, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Austria decided on an electric standard system for their railroads of 15 kV 16 2/3 Hz AC. 16 2/3 is exactly one third of 50.

Unfortunately, 16 2/3 is an infinite number. And computers can't handle infinite numbers. But the frequency should be computer controlled in the futur. That's why in the 1990ies the 5 nations agreed to change the standard frequency on their railroads. They rounded the old frequency by a tenth. That's only a numerical change because both frequencies are within the range of tolerance of the other one.
So, the standard current system on those 5 national railroad networks has been 15 kV 16.7 Hz AC for almost 20 years.
