I'd be up for one if an order is made.

Just so I'm clear, these cars ARE 1:120? Or slightly off?

Alex these cars are 1:120 or measure up as close as dammit. The larger stuff was produced to go with the oversized Rokal units and is closer to 1:101 scale (Triang TT) and are tank cars and coaches

Ok, I'm game for the box cars then (I want no part of the 1:101 stuff) if we do a group buy. Any idea on the price?

Hi Richard,
By all means, if you're still emailing back and forth go ahead and see what he says. I was always hoping he'd do another run, but I kind of just lost track, I hadn't thought of it until you started this thread.

Not yet Alex, i still don't know if they are still available at all, these must be around ten years old now so maybe it's a complete no no. Will let you know as soon as I do

Here are a few pics comparing Sip's car to a Gold Coast-

Note that the trucks aren't on it, I started to take it apart to switch over to Kadee couplers
(another project not yet finished!). And I may use Gold Coast trucks, I broke one of the originals
and I'm not sure it can be fixed.

And I found a couple emails from Sip, I bought mine in 2006, they were produced in 2003.
I've got one of the Santa Fe decorated units buried somewhere downstairs, and this undec. one. I've got some
decals coming, I'll see how it looks decorated for the Erie Lackawanna!

Well I just got a reply from Sip, although he did not say a complete no, it is pretty much the case that due to him having supply issues with other outstanding kits that another run of these boxcars is out of the question certainly for the next couple of years. So we can deduce that we will not be able to get them at all, sorry to all if I got your hopes up
