Site colors?

Postby ConnRiver » Wed Jan 11, 2017 7:15 am

Just bought a new (and larger) monitor for CAD work. On my laptop, this site displays as a light gray background surrounded by medium blue. On the new monitor, it's a lighter yellow surrounded by a darker blue.

Alex, how did you design the site's colors, if I might ask? Thanks.

Not sure exactly what you mean. But the easy answer is I played around until I liked it.

This is a railroad-centric site... the color is OBVIOUSLY 'Depot Buff'...

I was going to say that it looked more like a cream color, but you hit it on the head with "depot buff". The background is a sort of navy blue with slightly different shades depending on what computer I'm on.
