Sure! The top row is driver springs, they mount on top of the frame between the drivers to add detail. Usually there's only one or two. Second row, I can't tell what the first thing is. second is an air brake tank for under a freight car or tender, next is a lubricator and then another spring set. ...

I found magnets supplier in Moscow. They cost less then a dollar. Plus 5$ shipping

Retooled the motor again bacause the rotor didn't swing freely.
Now THAT'S the results I'm proud of:
0.9 amps on the start
0.28-0.3 amps working on idle

Changed the magnets today and made some tests The motor was clean and pretty much new. Tested it on the old magnet: 1.78-2.01 amps on the start 0.68-0.75 amps working on idle 1-1.2 amps working with load With new magnets: 1.24-1.27 amps on the start 0.61 amps working on idle 0.8-1 amps working with ...

What decoder did you use in this locomotive? I've found 2amp peak LaisDCC decoder that should easily fit HP tender. Hope it will be enough!

Can motor for HP steamer?

Did anybody try to upgrade pittman DC-60 to a can motor? I'm trying to restore a HP 4-6-6-4 and made it runnig today but the motor becomes REALLY hot after a few minutes of running. So is there any suggestions which motor to use with it?
