Zeuke website lists no SW1200s. None listed on MTB web site. Did MTB make only 500, barely enough to cover costs?

Re: Is there a market for US TT?

The difference between a GP-35 and a GP-40 is in the roof line and a few doors, otherwise it's the same externally. The difference between a GP-40/-2 and an SD-40/-2 is all below the belt line. A 30 is a unique body design. 50 and later start getting into a definitely different design. We've had thi...

Re: Is there a market for US TT?

Re: Is there a market for US TT?

SD-40 & SD-40-2 are far and away the most popular (read most sales and more of them) locomotive in North America from the seventies and eighties and well more than half of them are still in Class I service. Seems an easy answer for North American modeling post 1971.

Re: TT Today 50' Boxcar

Did the NMRA provide the website or was it all on own? Do you have to pay for the use of their name and logo? Thanks for taking the tim...

Re: SOO switcher - missing handrail holes?

The handrails for that era should be attached at "shoulder" height to the hood. Walkway attached full length handrails on EMD switchers came later.

Re: Assembling a Lok-n-Roll 50ft Boxcar

The finish looks fine but two days on, and it's still a bit tacky. Could this be from covering one brand of paint with another, or does satin take ages to dry properly, or can anyone suggest another reason? All the paint I used is acrylic spray. Yes, no, I once waited six weeks for some paint to dr...

Re: TT Today 50' Boxcar

The interest seemed to wane significantly once we got the thing up and running. Mark and I decided to just shut it down for good this go around.

Or you could create a new master for the part you want, then it's your intellectual property.

Re: Copyrights for Kemtron, HP, Gandy Dancer models

Careful Al, Attempts to stop him have been made and if you notice he no longer sells his wares in the more common scales. The NMRA has discussed him LEGALLY with PayPal several times for infringement and he has changed his moniker once or twice. Some folks will go further than "an angry letter" just...
