Re: End of TT Empire

Unless the author has made a prior agreement, copyright for individual articles is vested in the publication. ...and someone would determine that HOW ? Given the relative lack of interest in TT scale in N. America, it's difficult to imagine anyone seriously claiming copyright infringement. If there...

Lionel F3 + Tillig BR218

Here are photos of the Lionel F3 with Tillig BR218 (02709) put inside. I used an old Dremel tool with a grinding wheel and some cut-off discs which I have not used in several years. Most of metal removed was from the front of the chassis. The Lionel side trucks have a wheelbase a millimeter shorter ...

Re: 2019 Vancouver Train Expo

Out of curiosity, what work is needed to modify a BR218 chassis to work as a suitable powerplant for the F3? Remove metal until it fits. Difficulty is finding BR218. It's the Tillig ICE version for starter sets. From posts on TTNut I thought the dimensions would be right. Price is low but it's out ...

Re: 2019 Vancouver Train Expo

I didn't take many photos. Hopefully others will post photos of the show, too. One shown here is of Tibi's E94; the rest are my models. The F3s have a Tillig BR218 inside and were out on a test run. Since they worked well, more time and money will be spent to finish the job - like adding Conductor's...

Re: 2019 Vancouver Train Expo

The show was good and well attended. Reported attendance was 3000 Saturday and 2500+ Sunday. This year there were more individual displays. Among them two were of British rail, and one out of town guy with an N scale oval. These are typical of show exhibits. Also, as shown in the photos, was an N sc...

Please clarify this. Graeme and I intended to pick up Tibi's items on our way to show set up.

Re: 2019 Vancouver Train Expo

[*]drop off two boxes with the mainline modules at CH on Thursday night, with the yard and the rest of the stuff coming with me late on Friday. Graeme and I can pick up these two boxes. Maybe more. We can do this on the way and be at set up around 1:30PM. For set up we need to bring only the power ...
