Re: Switching to Gmail

There is an RRS Feed link at the bottom of each page. Perhaps there is a setting there that you need to change (never used RRS so not sure how it works) I hit the link, nothing but code opens. Over my head. If someone here is receiving daily emails via gmail, please let me know how you set up your ...

Re: Switching to Gmail

So, to be clear, I wish to receive forwarded messages to my new email account. Jan said to change my control panel email preferences, and I did. Is this all I need to do to have messages forwarded to me? I ask, because I had to set up an RSS feed with my old email software, Thunderbird, in order to ...

Switching to Gmail

I'd better ask. I'm switching from ISP email (Thunderbird) to gmail. As I recall, I had a struggle getting Thunderbird set up to get TT_Nut mail (rss feed, maybe?)

Could use help switching over to gmail. Got pointers? Thanks.

It does! Reminds me of the 1970s television series, "Walton's Mountain," which was set in 1930s mountainous Virginia.

Re: NMRA 2017 Orlando

But, Bill, reptiles never cease growing if a ready food supply is available. These constrictors are enjoying a feast in the everglades and north, aren't they, since they're the new predators on the block? The longest python on record is a 33 foot reticulated python (iirc, the same snake that ingeste...

Re: Train from China to the UK

Gee, thanks, Bernd . . . I just spent way too much time looking at everything at that link. ;-) Fascinating stuff, really. After watching the China video (link below, highly interesting), it is sparkling clear that HSR is a key benefit to the human race: safety, commerce, environment (protecting the...

Re: NMRA 2017 Orlando

Orlando holds no attraction for me. . . . -Terry C (Shudder) me, either. I'm not fond of 25-foot-long pythons. Says National Geographic, giant constrictors populate the state in the 100s of thousands and range as far north as Pensacola. Never much liked Florida anyway. -Brian C. Cedar Rapids, Iowa ...
