Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

2-bay hopper Due to the Covid-19 crisis and the take over of 2 companies by Fischer, there was for a long time no news about the 2-bay hopper project. The prototype made by Fischer with extra weights, JP's idea, should be ready this year. Production of 250 pcs in 5 different layouts, at least B&O an...

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

Hi guys, Shipment costs to the US are pretty normal again, 22€ for 2,5kg. Australia and Canada are still expensive. On stock are at this moment SCL hoppers, some chinese red Burlington cars such as the 171479, the 172020, the 172402 and CS 20000. I have one red brown RI hopper and there are 2 Chessi...

Re: Which 50ft boxcar?

Guys, If it was only for you . . But it is meant to grow the number of users. For locomotives and freight cars you need at least 500 a 1000 users instead of 100. Furthermore Kadee H0 PS1 cars show the riveted connection. How do you want to convince H0 users to go to TT if the TT models are lacking t...

Re: Which 50ft boxcar?

Not too fast guys. Things are not that easy in this moment. The Corona virus is a big hickup in the planning, making things un-predictable. For sure if you look to the economy / healthcare situation. People are simply not interested in TT models. But we do our best to keep things rolling. Anyway a q...

Re: Which 50ft boxcar?

Perhaps one short addition, again as an example the RI 40ft box cars: The light blue ones in the serie 506000 till 506049, will be produced with the max quantity of 50 pcs per car number. If these sell, another 2 brown cars, 40 pcs per car number will be printed. If these sell the last will be print...

Re: Which 50ft boxcar?

Yes, locomotives are the hard part. I can't talk about how that would look like. But to add more details to the PS1 box cars. Per railroad company there will be more cars in different door variations and of course in different layouts. Take Rock Island as an example, there could be 40 ft box car wit...

Re: Which 50ft boxcar?

Analysing a lot of PS1 cars, the Hawkins roster, books, railroad magazines, etc, the only way going forward is to keep things simple and to limit the possibilities by making choices. Due to the Corona virus, this year is gone, but perhaps next year. But first some important starting points: 1) the i...

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

A new hopper: the TNO 4781 from 1953 with the "Southern Pacific Lines" logo is on stock. (The SP 440146 is almost sold out.) To compare this hopper with the SP 440146, both cars are in one picture, which is taken handheld, not 100% sharp, with artificial light making the color not accurate. The SP i...
