Re: KM1 System 7 DCC Controller

The track voltage of 20V cannot be changed. Maybe it is possible to supply the SC7 via a power supply with less output voltage. But this isn't documented and I advise against it.

Re: TT-Tracks

That's a good idea. I only have one straight piece of Tillig H0/H0m dual gauge track. That is only available as a flex track.

Re: DNA-Modell offering Art&Detail Kits

I think some years ago A&D offered these kits here on the forum. I'm pretty sure I bought a few. They are and were since then probably also available at Siggi's store. Another disadvantage for buyers outside the EU, besides the lack of foreign shipping, is that they currently don't sell product...

Re: KM1 System 7 DCC Controller

KM1 Modellbau doesn't have an English manual for the SC7. I have called them. It is intended for large scales.

You can try to translate the part you are interested in via www.deepl.com. In the German manual, you can mark the lines and copy them.

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

One technical challenge with the NYC cars, they have a cushion underframe. ... My approach is to take extended coupler housings. The coupler, together with the housing, thus protrudes further beyond the end wall. For example, I want to try MTL #1019 instead of #1015. And also with the medium shank ...

Re: Canadian steamers from German models...

How would you tackle powering the wheels of what are essentially freight car trucks? Either you try to continue using the tender from Tillig and possibly stretch it or you look for powered trucks that have the appropriate axle spacing. For example, from the Tillig Desiro with about 16mm. Extending ...

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

I'm staying out of it this time. To be honest, I also have problems with this task. That I can recognize from afar the railroad company and car number is still possible, but also the year of construction and the car number range? Well, I don't know. Curious about the solutions, which will be...

Re: Canadian steamers from German models...

The BR 50 really fits very well. You just have to build a long tender including drive. Enough space should be available. I have something similar in mind with the BR 38. The construction of a 4-4-2 Atlantic is planned. I hope the longer version of a BR 38 tender will be quite close to the American p...
