Re: Automobiles

Thank you for the hint! But I have to think about the costs first.

Re: Whitcomb 65T centre cab

He uses a chassis from Tillig, the V100 (DR) model. He just drew the truck side frames to put on the Tillig bogies. Just like you did with the Blomberg for Halling. Looking at the Start model of the V100 from Tillig, I don't see what else would need to be changed on the side skirts. The box on the r...

Re: CB&Q SM-18 36' stock car

I prefer MTL #1015. He should put the smaller hole and everyone is happy. I think we Germans are self-sufficient when it comes to buying wheel sets. But I also use the RP25.

Re: US TT scale on the modell-hobby-spiel fair

There was a story about this in the Tillig club magazine 03/2021. A club member wanted the NoHAB in NYC livery because it was similar to an EMD E7. Tillig thought it was good and produced such a model.

@ART&DETAIL: Great videos and photos, especially the night shots.

Re: Hornby 2022/23

The same announcement of an American manufacturer would be awesome!

Here are some pictures of the Hornby TT stuff.

Re: Hornby 2022/23

I'm impressed. First Peco and now Hornby is offering a new track system. It is mind-blowing that they want to offer this wide range of products. :o @Keith: There are some errors and you are right, 1 foot at the prototype is 1/10th of an inch at the TT-scale model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bii...

Re: Whitcomb 65T centre cab

Glad you're staying tuned. With a START V100, you have a good and inexpensive basis for the locomotive. That looks good.
