These are nice photos, and the technique to get them is great.

Re: Bigelov's projects

Thanks for your hints. I think the calibration tool needs an update for the fast Mono printers. With a layer thickness of 0.05 mm, the normal exposure time is between 1 and 2.5 seconds. I ordered Anycubic Clear and I hope with the 50% setting for UV light might work just as quickly. The normal value...

These are beautiful little details on the exhaust ends. Also, the caboose knows to please. With some influence from your work, I also bought an Anycubic Photon, the Mono X model. The first print is still pending. A small room for printing is being set up. Maybe I can start next week.

I like to repeat myself. Your work of weathering looks really good!

Especially on the third model. How did you create the effect of flaking paint on the lettering?

Perhaps, I should probably send you one of my North American track bumpers. The European one is a bit out of place.

Yes, there is air under the decals.

Apply the decals to a glossy painted surface. With Microscale Micro Sol setting solution you can soften the decals, then they adapt better to uneven surfaces. After drying for the finish, paint the complete model matt over.

I agree with that. They look awesome!
