Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
I make it much too easy for you guys. Rob Well as soon as you mentioned Richard I knew it had to be either SP or Cotton Belt! And there's a list of all the owners of all the 40 and 50 foot PS-1 owners on Steam Era Freight Cars that had SSW cars listed with a date of 1956, so the era fit. I'm actual...

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
Hello Al! We have now two EL car numbers. Or a series between them? Yes! The series was the 844xx but not all of them got the grey paint. But there were at least 10 or twelve that had that paint scheme from what I can tell, many got repainted into the standard boxcar red later on but I won't...

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
Thanks Mirko! I have the Erie Lackawana color scheme book and it shows the grey cars in both 40 and 50 foot and from several builders, including the PS-1s. There weren't many painted in that scheme, it didn't last long when they realized how badly the rust would show, but there were a few and some s...

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
Great news, Thanks Rob! I'll put in another vote for either undecorated cars or kits, That opens up a lot of possibilities for other versions in length, different doors, etc. I don't really want to buy 50 Euro cars to cut up! But I'll be happy to get anything new for boxcars, the railroad I want to ...

Re: LnR GP9 Chassis help!
It's alive! I used a little ACC to hold the wires in the channels. I got the shaft lined up into the motor and truck on one end and cut a thin strip of black tape to hold it to one half of the chassis while I lined up the other end- it went right back together. Now if I can get the bodies finished up!

Re: LnR GP9 Chassis help!
Tell Mike Thanks! They might be a little difficult to get together for an old guy with shaky hands and bad eyes, but even my original one still runs smoothly down the track.

Re: LnR GP9 Chassis help!
Thanks guys!
I'll keep trying. I do have to give Mike and Sylvie a lot of credit, if it was my job to put these all together I think I would change careers!
