Re: If you know this guy, get him mental help

Jeez! Who peed in his corn flakes?
I think he is the guy trying to do TTn3, but I don't know if he ever posted much here- I think it was more on TT IMS or TTSMR

NMRA-X

Since the whole virus thing has knocked out most of the model railroading shows and conventions, the National Model Railroad Association has been having online conventions known as NMRA-X conventions. They usually start at 6 AM Easter time (US), and run all day. Each presentation is about an hour lo...

Where do you get Peho? I've been looking around (but not too hard) and the only option I see is ordering direct?

A little sad news..

I saw on Facebook that Nelson Kennedy passed away on May 19. He was the resin casting genius in NZ that did the GP38-2 shells for us. A great guy to deal with, very helpful to me when we were trying to get that project off the ground.
RIP Nelson! And Thank you!

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

I read an article about Japanese hobby shops shipping to the US- pretty much the same deal, a huge increase. Evidently a lot of the small package international mail travels on regular airliners, and with most of the normal international flights getting wiped out due to the whole Corona Virus thing t...

Re: Which 50ft boxcar?

Hi Rob! I would say pick one style and do it. Those rivets on a model wouldn't be that easy to notice, and it wouldn't be too hard to change one to the other. If it has rivets and you don't want them, they could be easily scraped off with a sharp blade. Or if they're not there and you want them, Arc...

Re: Which 50ft boxcar?

Hi Rob, I think your list looks good. One thing to remember in U.S. railroads, you would not see a train with all the boxcars from one railroad. One email list I'm on for the Erie Lackawanna (and also included the Erie and the DL&W) they did a study of a large number of consist sheets, the list give...

Re: What's on the bench?

It looks like the start of another excellent job Joern!
I am always amazed by your photographs, I have to look closely to see if it's a model or real!
