Re: TT-Tracks

Proses in the UK makes these nice powered railers. 20201108_Peoses Rerailer.jpg They come in Z, N, HO and other scales. No TT-Scale yet but I am told it is in the works. As I wanted one now, I purchased an N-Scale version and cut it in half length wise. I added a 3mm spacer up the centre, a new end ...

Re: TT-Tracks

Did some more work on the module. 20201031_oil dealer changes.jpg I changed the N-Scale ladder with a TT-Scale one. Painted the base a concrete grey. Added a small red shed for fire fighting apparatus, and added two unloading hoses. Also shown is an experiment I am trying. I saw a Facebook posting w...

Re: TT-Tracks

I don't know why but the loading dock is really doing it for me. For some reason it looks very real. Maybe the rusting on the roof? Not sure. I would kick it up another notch though and use some stained balsa wood (or match sticks?) instead of the plastic stacks. The stacks were painted with Vallej...

Re: TT-Tracks

Module five of the industrial switching are was to have three industries on it. An oil dealer, a lumber yard and a cattle pen. Here is the back side (if you are switching from inside the layout), would be the front side of the module if it was in the main setup. 20201028_Ind Module Five Industries.j...

Re: TT-Tracks

Having a week off, was getting a little peopled out at work, it was time to complete some projects. First off, there have been nine cars in my work desk that needed finishing and moving to the ready to run show boxes. Firstly some hopper cars. You have seen pictures of these before. 20201028_CArs re...

NMRA National 2023 in Dallas/FW

Looks like the 2023 NMRA show will be in the Dallas/FW area.
It's a one hour longer drive than St Louis (34 hours) but I am not sure I want to visit Texas in storm season.

It is a way long ways off so no need to make a decision now.

NMRA National in St Louis

With Covid causing the cancellation of both St Louis 2021 and Birmingham 2022, St Louis has been rescheduled to 2022. As I am starting to doubt that Santa Clara in 2021 is going to happen, I doubt that the Covid mess will have been settled by then, it is time to start long term planning for St Louis...

I think it is a bug. It doesn't work with pictures and files nor by drag and drop.
According to Micro Soft it would be a "Feature" not a bug, but yeah it's borked.

Re: TT-Tracks

I need some industrial buildings for my modules. The switching modules have a narrow strip along the front to suggest the industry there. 20200926_n scale oil tanks.jpg I think that these N-Scale tanks will do for the oil depot. Needs a small building and perhaps a chain link fence between the track...
