Re: Modellbahnshop Sebnitz

Thursday after I found the web address didn't work I looked up new location with street view. The picture might explain their difficulties.

Re: Eilzug coupler hack

These models are from the time Tillig bought BTTB. My guess is that BTTB had plans for more models with that coupler design, but Tillig didn't. Not much later Tillig introduced the coupler currently in use. I couldn't determine what coupler mechanism is in the reissues of these coaches. It would be ...

Eilzug coupler hack

In the early 1990s I bought a new set of BTTB eilzugwagen coaches - C40. Later I bought more of them second hand, and a couple years back I got a set of the Karwendel Express - which I always wanted - and extra coaches to go with the set. Re: 2020 Shows in Greater Vancouver

Yes, the Western Rails show is Sunday only and in a smaller venue. As things seem to be improving around here, there may be some hope for 2020 events. On the other hand it's possible the world won't be the same again, so who knows? This would be our tenth consecutive year for showing TT, but now it ...

Re: 2020 Shows in Greater Vancouver

I don't know about switching as that would require every turnout to be controllable and there to be a good method of remote uncoupling. That is why I mentioned the GuiTTar Case for testing. It has all those features. It doesn't require a large space and a group of people to set it up for experiment...

Re: 2020 Shows in Greater Vancouver

Many thanks for the link. It looks like the JMRI WiThrottle is more effective than the webThrottle. Recent experiences with internet access made me wonder about how practical any of this could be. With more usage by everyone these days my high speed service often has been either slow or nothing. See...

Re: 2020 Shows in Greater Vancouver

It could work via MS Teams! It would allow me to take control of someones PC screen to run a train. An alternative is JMRI. The computer running it can operate the command station directly, wired or wireless. JMRI has a web server. Train control and layout control can all be done through ...

Re: 2020 Shows in Greater Vancouver

The future: virtual train shows by web conferencing. Layouts operated through the internet. Then Bjoern could participate.

Re: DIYish DCC Booster Module

Is there any provision for adjusting track voltage? HO may not be ideal for TT.
For example = https://sites.google.com/site/markgurri ... k-voltages
