Depending what time Friday you're setting up, I may be able to come by to help; I finish classes at 2:20 and BCSME isn't far from SFU. One serious disadvantage of direct-only is that sales to newcomers are, I would think, much more likely to come from in-person exposure in a hobby shop (as few of those as still survive, anyway) than just seeing them on the 'web, thus limiting their sales and the growth of the hobby in general. But...
