Piko do seem to be willing to go for models with somewhat less market appeal, see also their Hungarian V43 electric in HO - only ever ran in Hungary. I would not generalize. Don't worry, there were roads like that in BC in the 50s... it wasn't until the end of that decade that they really started expanding the highway system here under the Minister of Highways (aka Minister of Everything) "Flying" Phil Gaglardi.
