<snip> The sales have generated some unusually high prices
As have a number of recent TT items... They either tend to go low... or VERY high.

All...

Many items listed, both rolling stock and engines, from a Northern California Estate.

Seller said source was a TT modeler in Mill Valley... but I have not been able to verify.

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

My eyeballs are not calibrated to 10ths of a millimeter!!!
I can usually spot the difference between 36in and 33in wheels...
but not 34in (7.2mm) and 33in (7.0) mm.

AFAIK... These are the same wheels used on MTB tank and 3-bay hopper cars. (With few or no complaints...)

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

To me, the car seems quite high. Unfortunately, I can not look, because all kits are sold. I'm pretty sure this was just set on trucks for a photo... NOT as an example of final production. It will probably not be possible to make it as low as the prototype. The model hopper car height is a factor o...

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

Note that the interior slope sheets are actually metal weights...
so you can run these empty (back to the coal mines!) without derailing.
...a quite effective solution to getting weight in an open car.
