Re: The identification thread

A&J Models, that was it! The name came from their first initials (A was Anthony, I still don’t recall the other brother’s name, perhaps John?). I never really got to know them, and I’m not sure at the time I even knew they were associated with TT scale, just that they had a small hobby shop on F...

Re: The identification thread

Good idea for a thread topic! While I have no idea as to the origins of this car, there really weren’t that many manufacturers in TT scale to pick from. One fairly obscure kit company that I can’t remember the name of at the moment, was located on Florida’s SouthWest coast (Cape Coral?), and was als...

Re: Passing of a senior member

Sad to hear that Hal passed. Before COVID shutdowns, I frequently saw him at local train shows in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Rest In Peace Hal.

Static Flock Application Tutorial on YouTube

This fellow from Sweden has some very helpful tutorial episodes on you tube, and I found this one about static grass. He really has it figured out how do different layers for a very realistic effect.

Re: Stolen TT Scale Items

The seller knows the property is stolen, yet he re-lists it, how does EBay allow known stolen items to be sold on their site?

Re: Cheap Static Flock Applicators on Amazon & Ebay

Hi Alex, I’m not sure the battery life is really that much of a problem, it was just the first and easiest thing to blame for the seemingly weak static charge produced by the Noch. The fact that the little Kecheer applicator had enough power to “zap” me after several days of playing with it and maki...

Cheap Static Flock Applicators on Amazon & Ebay

Low Cost Static Grass Applicators Are Available on Amazon and EBay: I built my first T-TRAK modules (N gauge) in about 2003 or 2004, but have been putting off doing scenery on most of them ever since. I have a block about doing scenery, in part due to lack of inspiration, and in part due to lack of ...

Re: Tillig Bedding Track Unavailable?

I sent an email inquiry trying to buy some Tillig TT Bedding track back a couple of months ago when they had a track sale. They never responded to my email. It’s a shame that our TT-Tracks standard requires the Bedding Track while Tillig has no interest in selling their products to the USA. I dusted...

Re: Should I feel complimented or pissed off?

I think you should feel complimented that someone liked your TT layout (or TT scale in general) well enough to post the video. I think you should withdraw your complaint to YouTube. TT needs all the exposure it can get, especially since it appears the video was shot independently. The layout is smal...
