Re: Güterzuggepäckwagen and Gepäckwagen differences

Better late than never. Güterzuggepäckwagen (Pwg, g like Güterzug) were used somewhat like cabooses/vans. Given the shorter distances, they did not have sleeping facilies. They were the train chief´s office, used to supervise the train, crew compartment, storage for tools and equipment. They usually...

Re: H.P. Products Stainless Steel Passenger Car

I used a different screw. And I used a washer between truck and car body. They do not fit ideally, I just used parts laying around.

Another coach is on it's way. I'll do some more testing and will keep you informed.

Re: H.P. Products Stainless Steel Passenger Car

It's a standard Kadee 714. I didn't think of using a coupler with a longer shaft, because I did not know of them. I'll try to get hold of them.

And the Multimark logo is missing the white, which I noticed only after the decals dried, of course.

H.P. Products Stainless Steel Passenger Car

My first project. An H.P. Products passenger car I acquired in the bay. I used N scale Micro Scale decals and Micro Sol (with the red script). The trucks are the new Lok'n Roll passenger car trucks, but I used PeHo axle bearings on them. The couplers are body mounted and I'm waiting for another car ...

Re: LnR GP9 Chassis help!

I had the same problem. But there was some grey gluey stuff within the channels to hold the wiring in place, like Play-Doh. Try to find something to fix the wiring into the channels and then it's only hard to do and not impossible anymore I'm not gonna take my model apart to take a photo to show you...

Re: Tillig Bedding Track Unavailable?

I asked at Modellbahnshop-Lippe, they are still shipping to the UK for 9,99€. Elriwa and Mein-Mbs (former Modellbahnshop Sebnitz) do not ship to the UK due to unsolved customs issues.

You could also buy an Anschlussgleis and remove the anti-interference capacitor.

Re: How does TT as an Engineering Scale work?

Thank you all for your answers, especially Tingoat for being true Canadian and showing how to use both. If I had just waited another day, my question would had been answered by the H.P.Products-catalogue. And for using metric I bought the Auhagen ruler, showing both true centimeters and scale meters.

How does TT as an Engineering Scale work?

Dear americans, it´s been a while since I used imperial measurements on a daily basis, so please explain it to me. I read that TT is an engineering scale and uses 1/10. 1/10 on what? I understand British TT in that it´s 3mm scale applying 3mm as a scale foot. So how does it work for you Americans?
