Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

I don't think the working detailed cushion underframe is necessary. If I'm mostly running trains, it's hardly of use. If I have a couple of cars on a switching layout, I could built it for the few cars myself, if it were important to me.
Please skip that feature and make the cars cheaper.

Re: T and S Trains - what?

And I guess T&S trains are somewhere in the middle. And I think it's only a gauge, not a scale. There is no way of knowing more apart from actually buying something. And then sending it back.

Re: Video of the Day

Hey Bill, those TTf models are scratch built, they are not H0f models. Auhagen offers TTf models that do not bust the budget. The TTe 0-4-4-0 looks like made by Modellbau Veit. Ready to run models should be about 900$, but you could cut that by half if you buy a kit. It would also mean adding more r...

Re: From Vancouver Island to the Prairies on a 4x8

The grass is somewhat static. It shows the limits of my $5-self made grass master I used for war gaming. I shall get a professional grass master in the future.
The telegraph poles are from Auhagen and I have not modified them yet to look more North American.

From Vancouver Island to the Prairies on a 4x8

"There was a time in this fair land, when the railroad did not run..." The title sums up somewhat humorously my ideas for my upcoming layout. In about two years we will switch rooms with our daughters and that will give me a bigger room in which I can build my layout, but which will still ...

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?

Those were for Canadian Pacific's International of Maine Division. Canadian railways were reluctant to buy from US companies and pay the import taxes. Those PS-1 assigned to the International of Maine could not be used on domestic duty in Canada. Probably explains why the PS-1 is rare among Canadian...

Re: Canadian PS-1 look-a-likes

Railroad Model Craftsman did some articles on Canadian 40' boxcars. CN was done in August and 93 and February 94. CP was done in October 94 and March 95. Did MacG by any chance acquire those issues recently?

I am too new to the hobby to give an answer to your question.

German online video-magazine (whatever you wanna call it) Bahnwelt-TV has a special episode on TT, showing 4 TT layouts, among others the Canada-layout by Michael Gruner:

1961? There should still be TT in it!
