Hi Rob,
I have also sent a better version of that drawing (that you posted above) to your info at zeuke email address. Also sent a very large scan of a technical drawing via Wetransfer. I haven't heard if you received them so maybe check your spam folder if you haven't

Re: Whitcomb 65T centre cab
The 'proper' print doesn't look as smooth as the last one. Some problems with the new printer? Its strange. Printed on a 30 degree angle, it has printed horizontal lines only on the tapering hood sides. I suspect its an artifact of the slicing process? I have had a similar issue on another print (n...

Re: Whitcomb 65T centre cab
Hi Rod, This one is for Ian, who I think only does DC, so will be wiring up for DC operation. Just need to work out the LED wiring. A zener diode might be involved? Research to do yet. For my own, when I get a V100 chassis, it will be DCC. The original board is removed so will wire it direct rather ...

Re: Bigelov's projects
And as if I didn't have enough projects, the Australian Narrow Gauge Convention is coming up at Easter next year. Each convention, apart from a range of contests, they have a special contest category announced only months before the event. This year is the 4"x4" challenge (or 100mm x 100mm...

Re: Bigelov's projects
Yes, tiny amounts of solder! I have really learnt a lot working on this kit. I have done a fair bit of soldering 2mm and N scale rolling stock, but this has been the really worthwhile learning. Cutting little slices of solder from the roll, rather than feeding in the solder direct is important so yo...

Re: Whitcomb 65T centre cab
Well, I have finally finished a 'proper' print and semi-assembled the loco: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52560033832_637cbc5a12_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52560778679_80d87a2944_c.jpg Motor is just sitting inside the body at present. It was originally held in with the pc board,...

Re: Zeuke-TT, what's new?
Great news! Streamlined diesels are not really my thing, but I can see a couple coming my way. BN or predecessors by any chance? Or undecorated kits? I can also see the EMD bogies and drive mechanism being very useful! For scratchbuilding/powering other models (such as the TT Society GP38-2 and all ...

Re: Bigelov's projects
Things have been going slow for a while now with more energy put into the Whitcomb 65tonner, so not too much to report. I finally did a 3D print for the TGK2 to Dapol conversion. If anyone would like the .stl just message me. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52412633328_e52bf45712_k.jpg I have al...

Re: Whitcomb 65T centre cab
Just got a new Phrozen 4k printer so I will get back to printing! Being a higher resolution I expect even crisper details than previously.
