Re: Removing lettering?

I used denature alachol and a q-tip to remove the ASG logo on some molded NOT painted yellow BTTB boxcars to make it look like a Bahnbau Gleisbau Gruppe car.

Re: Tillig Bedding Track Unavailable?

Hello Bill, IMO I think they are stepping up productions for the Holliday season. This hobby shop in Germany that I purchased all of my track sets and tracks has the R396 Grey as a reservation. I seen that last year too as it was a brand new item in 2019, later in the year I got notified that it bec...

Re: highest US railway arch bridges were build by Simpson Lumber

Has anyone here actually ridden on a train going over a bridge like that? It must be...uncomfortable. Not in a very long time for these bridges The High Steel Bridge was converted to vehicle traffic in 1964 when the railbed was replaced by a concrete deck. The Vance Creek Bridge was decommissioned ...

Re: highest US railway arch bridges were build by Simpson Lumber

From Facebook memories (only one without friends) This is the west side of Wynoochee Lake at the Coho Campgrounds. Shoreline about 800 feet above sea level. The end of the Simpson Railroad was just beyond that ridge to the east. Elevation 3200 feet, 4800 feet further east on the other side of a vall...

Re: AstroGoat and CaTTwoman's 2020 TT Scale Resolutions

I didn't know what a speeder is in the railroad industry so I looked it up on the internet. All the photos in the Wikipedia gallery shows the motor car as semi enclosed. Also the general dimensions listed is just under 10 feet (1 inch scale) length. That is small. Wheel diameter 16 inch (0.133 inch ...

Re: Tillig TT, Piko TT loc body shells for sale.

I've notice a switch on the PCB, FWIW back in Oct 2018 when my new used BR229 was running in the opposite direction of all my other locomotives I sent an email to Tilligs Customer service as it not solve the direction problem. Here is their reply: Dear Mr. it seems that you have a very old version o...

Re: AstroGoat's HP Products 0-6-0 Project #1

I'm not sure but probably has to do where the seller wants to ship his item. I just ask the seller would you ship to America and how much would ...
