Re: What's on the bench?

There's a one-page article in one of the 2016 issues titled 'Whatever happened to TT scale?". It was really a look at the demise of the old manufacturers, with no mention of any present-day suppliers of American TT, or of this forum, so not much research done there.

Re: What's on the bench?

Yes he is just updating the bodies (though sometimes he uses Romford wheels or the occasional etched chassis), though going by some of his posts he does have to take chunks off the Tri-ang magnets or gouge bits out of the bodies sometimes. He is a big Tri-ang enthusiast but personally I much prefer ...

Re: What's on the bench?

There's one guy in particular who likes to fit 3D printed bodies onto Tri-ang chassis, so producing a variety of British locos on just two chassis variants. Usually he even sticks to the Tri-ang motors and wheels - just shows there's still a lot of life in them. Not that it's a route I'd go down mys...

Re: What's on the bench?

I may have posted a link to this topic before but there are a few people in the UK in the last few months doing all sorts of interesting things with 3mm scale.
