Presumably if there is a removable roof walk there also needs to be the option to fairly easily shorten the corresponding side ladder, which suggests it needs to be a separate item rather than moulded on. Another way to look at it is that the NYC Nohab might just boost sales of American TT freight cars. After all it's the only RTR option at the moment for a loco which at least has a US paint scheme. People in whatever Tillig's 'main target group' is who buy them may then be tempted to buy some US TT ...
