In Romania I remember youngsters would clean or polish their boots or shoes on that day and place them by the chimney or any door or under a window and when they would wake up in the morning, they would find a little toy or some fruits, or nuts, or chocolate inside them, something to make them happy!


They were supposed to find TT-scale train in their shoes :lol:

I know. I have a TT-scale "helper" - since he was 3 years old.
