Do you like armoured trains? There were a lot of armoured trains in Russia during the World War I, Civil War and World War II...

Now, Flames Of War produce funny train in 1:100 (almost TT?)

Here it is, on the TT gauge rails:

Painted as Soviet

But it is not too prototypical, if you look at the photo of the prototype:

In the Soviet Army (NKVD troops) 1939-1941

It was former Soviet armoured train, built in Krasnoye Sormovo plant in Nizhny Novgorod (Gorki) around 1919 during the Russian Civil War. It was captured by the Polish army in 1920, and renamed as "First Marshal"
In 1939 the train was captured by Soviet Army again and repaired and placed into Soviet Service as the Armoured Train of the 77th NKVD Regiment from the 10th NKVD Division, otherwise known as the BP (Armoured Train) Nr. 77
In 1941 the train was captured by German army and renamed as Panzer Zug Nr. 10 .
In 1945 it was destroyed by soviet aviation.

I'm kinda pondering one day building a couple of armoured trains - one the Canadian one that was stationed in BC during WW2, and the other, one that was used around 1993-1995 by the "Army of the Republic of Serb Krajina". There's another very interesting one that could merit a model too, used by the Croatian army during the war - IIRC it was pulled by an armoured EMD G-16...

Looks interesting, ya gotta admit that stuff like this adds a little spice to layouts that brings people over to look that might otherwise keep walking. 1:100 was used as the TT scale ratio by Tri-Ang and Wesa by the way.

Yes, it was. BTW, Flames Of War produces some vehicles in 15mm scale = 1:100 that can be used in TT, I am sure.
For example, GMC CCKW-352/353, Dodge WC51, Jeeps...
