I wonder (maybe one of our German friends can answer this) if there is a relationship between the German US group and Lock n Roll? I'm asking because they made their GP9 chassis available for purchase in North America.

No, there is no relationship and the German US group don't use the Lock n Roll chassis.

The NSW 4001 (RSC3) has now been officially launched. It went well, minor problem with anenjector hose. It has been painted in the colours it ran in when it headed a royal train.

good looking RSC3. this is one of those occasions where getting a TT chassis might not be that hard. there are B-B chassis from Tillig that have an 11' or 28mm wheelbase. the same as the RSC3 which is 5'6"+5'6". were it possible to get a dummy wheelset or even something that might look like a wheel at a distance, it could be done, that is if an RS shell ever comes to light.

cheers, ben
