Here's my little girl, Penelope (Penny) Willow Hurlbut walking in fresh snow along the Toronto Beltline Trail:
We got her from the shelter in September and she's just over two years old.
80% Pug, 20% Staffordshire Bull Terrier and 100% adorable.

I can't resist joining in this thread. On Wednesday I brought home a new addition to my family, a three year old English cocker spaniel called Reg. He's a gentle fella who's incredibly well socialised, if a little clingy at the moment. I think that's probably new home nerve for him though.

I love English cocker spaniels!
There were 2 spaniels (the mother and later the daughter) in my family (to be more correct, in my parent's family - we got the first one when I was the schoolboy).

P.S. Your spaniel is not fat; be careful while feeding him; spaniel can become fat very quickly, they can eat non-stop!

I think that is true for most dogs...

Penny was chubby when we got her. So was I.

We have both lost weight by taking lots of walks.

HAHA! The full suit in the first two videos is funny. She's like a 4 legged eskimo :)

She loves to romp around in the snow, but she'll shiver and cry unless she's dressed for the weather.

Penny really needs mud-flaps. She kicks up a lot of muck in wet weather and her legs and belly get filthy.

The suit keeps her warm and dry which saves having to give her a bath after every walk.

We live in a Condo, so our daily walks keep us in shape.

Here is our new puppy, Gus. We have no clue what the heck breeds he is a mix of, but we suspect that he is part beagle.
