Does anyone think that a "layout" like one of those in the game is useful in real life? More specifically, do you think it would create interest for TT if a puzzle like that was available for people to solve at a show?

I've been through that site before - good site. Maybe I should rephrase my question - do you guys think a visitor operated layout would drive any interest in the scale?

Yes, a layout with visitor operated features would likely help build interest. Heck, that is how Nicholle was convinced to start into S scale, a module at a train show in Columbia, SC; where visitors could run an American Flyer (20) 234 GP7 with a log car in particular.

That is a good idea.
